Designated Giving Opportunities
The Prichard Committee relies on gifts and grants to fulfill our mission. We greatly appreciate unrestricted gifts that allow us to direct them to the areas of greatest need. We also invite donors to consider making gifts to specific initiatives that may have special meaning to them, including...
- Early Childhood Education: Because research has shown that high-quality early childhood education programs lay the foundation for success throughout all later learning, the Prichard Committee develops excellent policies and practices that promote learning opportunities for all Kentucky children.
- The Equity Coalition: The Prichard Committee envisions a Kentucky in which educational attainment does not vary by race, gender, income, disability status, language, or region. We advocate for honest and inclusive conversations that promote culturally responsive policies, practices, and investments to repair longstanding failures to deliver educational excellence for students who have been marginalized.
- Family Friendly Schools: Because of evidence that children learn best in schools that actively involve families, the Prichard Committee assists schools in developing a family-friendly culture and certifies schools that meet specific benchmarks.
- Meaningful High School Diplomas: The Prichard Committee advocates for rigorous academic standards, meaningful assessments, and policies that ensure all Kentucky students graduate prepared for college, career, and life.
- Parent and Family Engagement: We believe that students succeed when parents and families are actively engaged in their education. The Prichard Committee supports programs and initiatives that empower parents and families to be effective advocates for their children.
- The Beverly Nickell Raimondo Award: This award honors the legacy of Beverly Nickell Raimondo by recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to education in Kentucky. Your gift can support this award and the initiatives it funds.
