After working 30 years with Kentucky Family Resource and Youth Services Centers including earning the Harry J. Cowherd Award of Center Excellence in 2017, Andrea is excited to join the Prichard Committee to continue working toward positive outcomes for Kentucky’s children and families! Andrea is a fervent lifelong learner and has worked with public schools, libraries, and service organizations to bring additional opportunities to her communities. Andrea has served on the Meade County Public Library Board of Trustees and the United Way of Central Kentucky Board of Directors. Andrea and her husband, Greg, love to travel and enjoy time with their daughters who attended the Gatton Academy of Science and Mathematics at WKU.
Since 1983, the Prichard Committee has worked to study priority issues, inform the public and policy makers about best practices and mobilize citizens, business leaders, families, students, and other stakeholders in a shared mission to move Kentucky to the top tier of all states for education excellence and for all children, from their earliest years through postsecondary education.
