The Prichard Committee’s Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership (CIPL) helps families, schools, and communities work together so every child in Kentucky can succeed. CIPL is a statewide network where parents and caregivers come together to learn, share ideas, and take action. Through hands-on workshops, community projects, and shared learning, families build the skills, confidence, and connections they need to make a real difference in their schools.
One of CIPL’s signature programs is the CIPL Fellowship. The Fellowship is an in-depth learning experience where parents not only deepen their knowledge of education issues, but also design and lead a project that supports student success. And the journey doesn’t end there. Alumni can step into leadership roles, join focused learning opportunities, and continue shaping education policy and practice across the state.
