Khatirah Malik is a Community Schools State Coach for Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. She graduated from Berea College, where she double majored in Child and Family Studies and African and African American studies. Her dedication and passion to serve individuals of diverse and underserved communities is what drives her to help set students, families, communities, and future generations up for success! Previously, she worked at Berea College as an Admissions counselor, and prior to that, at the Kentucky Career Center Bluegrass as a Veteran Talent Development Specialist. In her free time, she loves to be surrounded by nature, doing art, and spending time with family and friends.
Since 1983, the Prichard Committee has worked to study priority issues, inform the public and policy makers about best practices and mobilize citizens, business leaders, families, students, and other stakeholders in a shared mission to move Kentucky to the top tier of all states for education excellence and for all children, from their earliest years through postsecondary education.
