Rotary Club of Florence named 2013 CIPL fellow Paula Mc Peake the 2021 Citizen of the Year

Rotary Club of Florence named 2013 CIPL fellow Paula Mc Peake the 2021 Citizen of the Year.  Paula is the coordinator of Ment2Be, a mentoring program located at Stephens Elementary School in Boone County. Ment2Be focuses on student relationships and with her guidance, community and business volunteers invest in the life of a student and help them BELONG, BELIEVE, and BECOME all they were meant to be. A self-described active volunteer with appreciation for the value of education and educators, Paula, is well known in her local community for her giving heart. During her award ceremony in August, Paula attributed her success to the mentors in her life. She says the “people who go over and above … people who always have their foot on the gas” are her greatest motivators.
