During this time CIPL graduates have been one of the Committee’s most effective tools for realizing the belief that community-grounded leadership is a critical tool for both individual student achievement and school change. With the recent addition of a CIPL class for Spanish speaking families in Northern Kentucky the program can support ELL families by addressing barriers to family engagement and equipping families with the knowledge and confidence to become leaders in their local districts.“We’re more than just insurance, we are your community partner dedicated to improving the communities where we live and work,” Tom Bell, State Farm Agent, Hopkinsville. “And we know excellent, equitable education is the shared responsibility of families, schools, and communities.”
